The Postdoctoral Referral Service is a community service which has been committed to providing quality referrals for psychotherapy and psychoanalysis for over 30 years.

Following a free phone consultation, a referral will be made to a psychologist in private practice who has expertise in treating your problem.

Referrals will be made to psychologists who have offices in the five boroughs of New York, Westchester, Long Island and/or New Jersey.

All participating psychologists are licensed and are graduates and/or faculty of the New York University Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis.

Many of the practitioners have additional training in such areas as group, couples and family therapy as well as stress reduction and cognitive behavior therapy.
